Xmas Lights

So, really, Christmas lights work much better when Christmas is in the winter. It is a good distraction from the cold to have everything twinkling. And we dont have to wait up until 10pm to go and look at decorated houses like we do in the southern hemisphere!Here are some samples of what we have seen...

    I know what you mean. Christmas in the UK was just wonderful. All the shops had lights up and it was an amazing atmosphere to be doing shopping at 4pm in the dark with all the lights on and every shop well heated. Very different from our summer Christmas. And not as cold as you have there!

    Loved this aspect of Christmas. It really feels like Christmas and the music ringing out from the shops creates a real holiday atmosphere.
