This is a short post, just to show the fantastic concept that is pizza by the slice and craft beer. Preferably together, like they were made for each other.
While not so prolific as in the Pacific Northwest, Montana is also building a credible craft beer industry. There are a few pubs and brew houses around town and we have tried a few. The edge of campus has a couple, conveniently located to capture students - though with the drinking age 21 it means they lose a ton of business. University students would be considered captive markets in Australia and New Zealand - but here by the time they get to 21 they are over half way through uni.
Yesterday we went to Bridger Brewing, just near campus. We drank beer, the kids had soft drinks, and we all had a slice of pizza. The kids were astounded at the size....but managed to eat about 75% of it!

Yummy! I had a pizza at Dixie Brown's last night in Devonport. It was so huge I couldn't even eat half of it. At least 35 cm wide. You need to eat there next time you are in Auckland - though use the ferry to get there.
